Fish in Net

This Tunisian Crochet project was an exploration into an experimental technique using two different yarns and the Smock Stitch. The Smock Stitch reminded me of an interlocking net, which inspired me to create a piece depicting a fish behind a fishing net. It uses two very different gauges to put the background image on full display.
